【ローマ】ヴァチカン 現代宗教美術館 マリノ・マリーニ Roma - Musei Vaticani, Collection of Contemporary Art, Marino Marini

ヴァチカン美術館の中には、現代アートを展示した現代宗教美術館もある。

その中で、とりわけ大きな展示スペースがあったのが、マリノ・マリーニとアンリ・マチスの2人だった。

まずは、マリノ・マリーニから見ていこう。マリーニの作品は、ヴェネツィアのグッゲンハイム美術館で目にしていた。

日本ではあまり知られていないが、20世紀のイタリアを代表する彫刻家だ。

マリーニの代表的な、馬に乗る人物像などを始め何点かの彫刻作品やデッサンなどが展示されていた。

He is not well known in Japan, but he is one of Italy's leading sculptors of the 20th century.

There were several sculptures and drawings on display, including a typical image of a horse-riding figure of Marini.
