Warhol seems to have visited this Goethe's house, and a photograph in front of a painting of Tissueburn was also exhibited.
サルバドール・ダリが描いた、ゲーテの『ファウスト』をテーマにした版画作品も何点か展示されていた。
ダリは、『ファウスト』の他にも、ダンテの『新曲』の全ての曲をテーマにした連作の版画作品を制作している。
ダリはシュールレアリスムを代表する画家であり、ユニークで不思議な雰囲気の作品を数多く制作したが、ダンテやゲーテなどの古典からも、様々なインスピレーションを受けていたようだ。

ルドルフ・シュタイナーと言えば、神秘的な思想家として、あるいはシュタイナー教育などで知られているが、若い頃にゲーテの研究を行っており、初めはゲーテ研究者として注目された。
シュタイナーは、キュルシュナー版ゲーテ全集の自然科学に関わる部分の編集を担当した。

Although not on display at Goethe's house, Goethe reminds me of Rudolf Steiner.
Speaking of Rudolf Steiner, he is known as a mysterious thinker or in Steiner education, but he studied Goethe when he was young and was initially noticed as a Goethe researcher.
Steiner was in charge of editing the natural sciences of the Kirschner version of Goethe's complete works.
Goethe's comprehensive perspective, which was not bound by the common sense of science at the time and also looked at other disciplines, had a great influence on Steiner.
Steiner describes Goethe's perception as "recognizing everything in a way that derives from human and natural nature."
